Backgammon in the sun!
Across the nation, on Sunday July 19th, a series of outdoor backgammon events is being held.
At each of these gatherings a free entry tournament (or tournaments) featuring single game matches will be run.
These tournaments are open to anyone.
There will also be tuition available from experienced players.
At each venue, there will be a winner, who will receive:
- A trophy to mark their achievement;
- Free entry to an online tournament with all the other regional winners, the winner of which will receive free bronze entry to this year's UKBGF UK Open, in Coventry on September 4th to 6th;
The Bristol event is being held at
in Merchant Street, Broadmead, Bristol from 11.30am to 3pmish.
Arrival at the venue (pictured below) before 1pm will guarantee you entry into the tournament(s).
