The details:
Bristol Backgammon has acquired several clocks, as it is anticipated that time limited backgammon is likely to become more prevalent, and players ought to be able to deal with it proficiently.
Entry is Ł10, and at least 90% will be distributed as prizes to the finalists of the two flights, with the remainder taken as an admin fee.
The event will consist of a main flight of 7-point matches, and a consolation flight (also of 7-point matches) for those unfortunate enough to be eliminated in the first round of the main.
These events will now form a regular feature of our calendar.
