Monday Club
from 7.00pm at the BCSC.
The details:
On Mondays (as opposed to our Thursday competition sessions) the accent is very much on welcoming new and developing players.
First of all, from 7pm to 7.30pm, we assess new players' needs on the evening.
Then, at around 7.30pm, we decide who does what.
If you wish, you will get individual attention from an experienced player.
Otherwise there will be some low key competitive action.
This will form a part of the Monday Club Autumn Grand Prix competition, and entry will be either £5 or nothing at all, depending on your preference.
This evening's featured format is Tric Trac Tournos, where you play a single game against each other member of the group, and the scoring system is designed to encourage play for gammons and backgammons.
The paying player(s) with the most points at the end is the winner, and everybody who's paid the £5 gets Autumn Grand Prix points.
If you have a board, please bring it!
