Premier Two Red 2012

There are twenty contestants for the 2012 Bristol Premier League Division Two season, three of whom were relegated from Premier One, while another fourteen were in Premier Two last season. One has graduated from the ranks of the intermediates, one has a sufficiently elevated past BIBA ranking score to qualify, and one former Premier League player has returned after a two year absence.
The 20 players have been arranged into two parallel divisions, Premier Two Blue and Premier Two Red, seventeen as per their finishing positions last year, with the other three randomly drawn into the remaining vacant slots.
In each division players play each other twice in 11-point matches, in a season spanning the eleven months from January to November.
Players arrange their own fixtures, but the best opportunities occur either when players find themselves eliminated from other events, or on the designated monthly league night, which falls on a Thursday late in each month (except December).
